He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow in 1989. From October 1989 he was a researcher at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University, first as an assistant, and in 1995-2003 as an senior lecturer. After completion of judicial training, in September 1991, Mateusz Rodzynkiewicz passed judicial exam. In November 1993 Mateusz Rodzynkiewicz qualified as legal advisor, and in November 1994 he obtained a doctor of law degree. Dr Rodzynkiewicz renders legal services for business transactions since 1993. In 1991-1997 dr Rodzynkiewicz was a full-time member of Local government Appeals Committee i.e. an institution of appeal and supervision for local government units. He is co-founder and partner of the Legal Office of Legal Advisors "Oleś & Rodzynkiewicz" sp.k. and a member of the Supervisory Board of Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych Forum SA, whose co-founder is the Legal Office; moreover, in the years 2008-2011, dr Rodzynkiewicz was a member of the Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
Dr Rodzynkiewicz is also a lecturer for training companies, providing training on matters concerning mergers and acquisitions, equity take-overs, and obtaining capital on a regulated market and restructuring of enterprises.
Dr Mateusz Rodzynkiewicz is the author of legal publications, as well as the articles published in "Rzeczpospolita" and co-author of the following books: "Mergers of joint-stock companies - legal aspects" (1998), "The transformation of a limited liability company into a joint stock company" (1999) and a commentary to the provisions of the commercial companies code concerning mergers of companies: “The merging of companies. Commentary" (2002, second edition 2003), as well as the commentary to the entire commercial companies code “The Code of Commercial Companies. Commentary "(six editions in the years 2006-2014).
